Dr. Tull is the author of three books: Wrestlings, Wonders, and Wanderers, Why, God, Why? Sermons on the Problem of Pain, and Christmas Journeys: Finding Joy along the Way. (See TULL BOOKS above for descriptions of these books and a link to Amazon.com for purchase.) He is currently writing study guides for his books and lesson plans for his seminars. This year he also hopes to complete a resource for clergy entitled: Surviving and Thriving in Ministry: Lessons I Learned; Mistakes I Made. Since retiring from active ministry in the United Methodist Church, Dr. Tull has taught three introductory units of preaching to pastors taking the course of study route for their theological education. He is also in the process of becoming a trainer of interim ministers with an emphasis on "preaching during the interim." When not serving as an interim minister, pastor Tull fills pulpits in Texas and Colorado. Dr. Tull has developed several seminars that he has shared with hospital chaplains, Stephen's Ministers, church groups, and Sunday school classes. Having wrestled wtih the issue of grief both theologically and personally, he has developed many of his seminars around the issues of personal tragedy and grief. His most popular seminar is based on his book, Why God Why? Sermons on the Problem of Pain, now available with a fifty-eight page study guide supplement.
